“This cruise was just right. It is handicap accessible. Plenty of seating and outside viewing areas so it doesn’t feel crowded. There is a refreshment area and a tip jar is available if you are so inclined. We saw several while tailed eagles. Water was too murky for the underwater drone. Would recommend this tour.”

7.Hurtigruten Cruise into Trollfjord

★★★★★★★★★★3.6 · 13 reviews · from $146

Take the Arctic Route bus from Svolvær to Stokmarknes, visit the new Hurtigruten Museum, explore town with a digital guide, then sail back aboard a Hurtigruten or Havila ship through Trollfjord. This long, self-guided day costs $146 and runs only a few times weekly.

“I don't feel that the description measured up to what was experienced and it was unclear that for almost 6 hours you would be busy in a very small town and 3 hours was the boat trip itself. Feel that the tips did not hold, for example "have a morning coffee at the newly built hotel before you go to the museum" We were rejected at the hotel because they still had breakfast seating. The boat trip was beautiful and the Havila boat we got to go on was fresh and nice.”
