“We took the bus to a group of houses where we changed into one of their snowsuits. They didn’t smell good. I had done a tour of the Northern Lights before so I expected this would be a chase of the lights maybe accompanied by one or two dogs. It says “husky visit”, right? No, you are taken to a dog compound and it’s not until you get around the dogs and they start pooping and peeing all over their houses that you realize you need to be careful where you step….. we ended up staying there for what felt like an hour and then they took us to the…”

“Awesome tour learning about the husky mushing and doing the do sledding trail for one hour. Refreshments tasted great and our guide was enthusiastic and fun! The dogs love to do the sled trail and it was so cute to see them so excited to go. The tour took about 4.5 hours total. The bus was comfortable and the tour was well organized.”

“We had a great time snowshoeing lead by Loti. She took our small group out into the snow into beautiful scenery and quietness. Halfway we sat in reindeer furs and drank hot chocolate. Before heading back. The walk was easy and suitable for all abilities with as much time for taking photos as you wished. We then spent time meeting the sleigh dogs which was a real highlight and makes this experience extra special if you are an animal lover. “Loved the day with the huskies! The hike itself was a bit challenging. Wet, uneven elevated terrain. The guides gave me boots and waterproof pants. Boots did not fit well so I chose to return early from the hike. I totally loved spending my time with the huskies and puppies rather than hiking. They had over 200 dogs and I petted every one of them! Lunch was fish stew, bread and chocolate cake. The soup was delicious and very filling. Overall, I had an excellent tour with the huskies.”
