“This was one of the hardest hikes I have ever done...I had a great time, even during my lack of ability to breathe and wanting to give up. The view at the top is worth it. But what I would say is missing from the details the company provided is the following - its about a 5 mile hike up and back. Yes you are walking up in snowshoes in deep snow (depending the time of the year, I went in Feb) it is a 1600ft elevation gain. I am in relatively decent shape good shape, I work out 3-4x a week. I hike often (not in the snow) but…”

We then spent time meeting the sleigh dogs which was a real highlight and makes this experience extra special if you are an animal lover. “Loved the day with the huskies! The hike itself was a bit challenging. Wet, uneven elevated terrain. The guides gave me boots and waterproof pants. Boots did not fit well so I chose to return early from the hike. I totally loved spending my time with the huskies and puppies rather than hiking. They had over 200 dogs and I petted every one of them! Lunch was fish stew, bread and chocolate cake. The soup was delicious and very filling. Overall, I had an excellent tour with the huskies.”

“An exceptional experience with Nico, and one of the best guides we have had for any activity (anywhere). His attention to detail and quality of vehicle and equipment were second to none. For a high-end, private or small group aurora tour, I doubt there is anyone better. He was also exceptionally honest, cancelling us when there was cloud cover, offering a refund or another trip if that could be accommodated - which it somehow was, and it was one of the best Northern Light nights Tromso had seen that year. We drove some 40km out to Karvik, and enjoyed the spectacle til 0100h with no other vehicles or light pollution.…”

Two amicable guides, one Norwegian the other Swedish and a German, a German Shepherd that is, named Tim. Beautiful scenery, clean air, reasonably easy trek, a nice hot drink with a slice of chocolate at the top. Good times.”
